Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

looking beyond sat. to 2014. thinking about tweaking the 12 steps:
- a more consistent, and therefore predictable, schedule: the 4th sat. of every month (except for jan., when by tradition we go in the middle of the month)
- opportunities for others to lead, since i might not be able to make it the 4th sat. of every month
it would be fun if there were some sort of prize for anyone who worked all 12 steps. a t-shirt or something? but i have no artistic ability or experience with t-shirts. anybody else?
