Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

DLD ticket's aren't transferable, so unfortunately are not for sale.

Comment by Boonji on March 28, 2014 at 5:49pm

Kelvin, are you selling your ticket?

Comment by Kevin Mulcky on March 28, 2014 at 4:42pm

I just got notice that I was a winner of the Dark Lord Draw and got a couple of the extra tickets they were selling.

Anyone else going to DLD? Riding there?

Serge, put up the event in the calendar already! So I can mark it on mine

I am going to try to make it to both rides, but for those of you who can't make it to Penrose... https://www.facebook.com/events/268722703302324/?ref_dashboard_filt...

I told Rich I won't be able to do his ride, last night, since I'll have Hustle the Hancock on the 13th.

But I have 19th marked in my calendar.

I'd be up for a Geneva ride.  Valpo RT is just too far.

Comment by Rich S on March 25, 2014 at 1:57pm

Sweet! The 19th will be tough for me since that's the end of the school semester but I know come May I will have a lot of steam to blow off!
