Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

May 30 ... I'm free and thirsty! Any votes on beer rides for that day? DPRT to Tighthead and Lake Bluff?

Fox River Trail visiting Two Bros, Penrose and Crystal Lake Brewing?

I&M Canal/Centennial Trails to Polyanna, Imperial Oak, and Buckledown?

Head south to 3Fs, One Trick Pony and Flossmoor?

Anywhere else???

So many fun and tasty options I can't decide!! Help me choose whether you think you can make it or not.

Only Child Brewing's tap room is making progress! And they are just a 1/2 mile off the DPRT.

I live right in that guy's path home! I'll be keeping an eye out. And if I find it I'll offer full return of all the bag's contents so long as he cracks open that dark lord with me.

Treasure hunt?

I had way too much to drink at a beer festival on Saturday and lost my bag, I have no idea how I got home but believe I walked from Addison and Elston all the way to Western and Foster if you find it please let me know. I may have even put it in a trash can or stashed it to come back for it somewhere because it was too heavy and making it hard to walk. Thanks for helping a drunk idiot.....

Yup made it home with darklord but the barrel aged darklord and my tshirt are in this bag along with some other super rare beers.
