Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

directly S, or SE, or SW? if we guess will you tell us if we're right or not? :-)
So what is the destination for the Sunday ride?
was just a tasting and I was too late
Looks like they have New Glarus Wild Bitter at Beer Temple. Hope they don't get in trouble.
I'd be up for a long ride Sunday.
To where?
Good to know and will definitely check that out.
Was planning a Woodman's stop on the way home and you know what their selection is like!
I believe you'll be pleased and impressed by the beer selection at the Lagrange General Store- Highway 12 & County H, LaGrange WI 53538 262-495-8600. It's a couple of miles from the trails. I always park there and ride up H to the trails.
Palos ride for July 3rd is cancelled. Driving up to the Kettles with J.W.
Will try it again once trails dry out.
