Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Doing the Tiny Tiki ride with Su on Saturday. Don't think I can make Sunday either.

If you guys ride back from Hodgkins Saturday then stop at the Paradise Club on Belmont and Harlem to join us for a few drinks. We expect to get there about 7. It's the best Polish Tiki Dive bar in Chicago!

Hodgkins has a UPS sorting facility and less than 2,000 residents.

It was great Bob, 7 of us went from WCCC. Cue sheet was spot on, thanks. And nobody was killed after more than 1 beer.

Really? "...just one drink makes it six times more likely a bicyclist will be killed."  Source: http://blogs.mprnews.org/newscut/2015/07/bicycling-and-booze-go-han...
