Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

High 77F-79F. Winds ENE at 10-E at 15 mph. so better to ride out to meet you, then train back.

Its about 35 miles on the trail between Aurora and Crystal Lake.   Its around 40 to Two Bros Roundhouse but longer to Crystal Lake.

"easy" = about how far? it would maybe be +40 (each way) riding instead of taking the train? either sat. or sun. would work for me, at least right now.

Available on Sunday.

Any interest in a Fox River ride this weekend?  Two Brothers/Penrose/Emmets/Scorched Earf/Crystal Lake.
