Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Thanks Serge!

Consider putting the ride on the Chainlink calendar?

I'm aiming to catch the 5:45 train, after Brenner Brewing Co.

Any consensus on which Amtrak (from Union) we should plan to catch?

8:25am or 10:20am

Returns from MKE are:

5:45pm or 7:35pm

unfortunately that's too late for me. plus it's 35% starting at 10 am. i might have to settle for a quick loop before then. anybody interested in a early morning 40 mi.? beer only afterwards.
