Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

lady google suggests this, and i think i did what she said last time. for more of a workout we could include the hill.
now it's coming back to me, last time i hit both goose islands on the way home.
Is there any decent route to get to Five Rabbit?
i'm thinking again about imperial oak / 5 rabbit on sat. "Sunshine and some clouds. High 77F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph."
No. My brother lives nearby. I'll be driving most of the way. And as a side note the house he rents is marked on Google Maps as Barnhill Brewery, though its just someone homebrewing (and not actually in the barn as far as I know).
Jared: Have you ridden up Huron River Drive to Dexter?
Yep, not much there, was just looking for rides to do around Ann Arbor. Probably visit Jolly Pumpkin again.
Its a small town outside Ann Arbor. The annual One Helluva Ride passes through it. Go to Hell, Jared!
how far is hell? and what's there?
I might ride to Hell (Michigan).
any fun rides this weekend?
