Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

So where did you guys end up going?
thanks for coming, what a beautiful day
See you at 12:15
great, the mather, on the south side of davis between judson and hinman. let's say 12:15 so i have time to change (back).
Np, let's ride on Sunday. Art of Beer sounds like a good option. Name the meet up location and I'll be there :)
dane sorry if i was unclear, meeting at noon in evanston would be tomorrow
Bob, still wanna ride today at noon?
and a short ride to a good cause tomorrow (later today)?
The website seems a bit lacking. There must have been nearly a dozen varieties on tap. I recall several sours. Another suggestion is The Art of Beer in Highwood, pretty much right off the Robert McClory trail.
