Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

i'd like to get out this sunday. "mainly sunny sky. High 58F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph". have to be back in time for a thing @ 3.
Ah, fer cryin out loud. I thought I liked Ride With GPS.
Maybe I should get back to good ol' paper maps.
It's public now. I swear!
Frank, the like to the route is not viewable - private
Why the rush on filing your taxes? You have until Tuesday to file.
I fixed the privacy setting of the route.
talk @ 1 & taxes, so unfortunately won't work for me. btw: The route you are trying to view is not public.
Any who hasn't visited Alarmist want to try it out tomorrow at opening 11am)?
I was thinking of doing 40-50 miles beforehand and stopping there on my way home. (Yes, I know the route is backwards)
Leave at 8am at the end of the LFT at Ardmore?
