Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

speaking of 3f, looking forward to something completely different, a weekday ride down for dinner, tomorrow
wups, calendar wasn't up-to-date, new plan is to ride N to Grayslake. leaving around 9.
thinking about getting back in the saddle tomorrow. anybody else? leave 8:30 for 3±1f?
Or 3 ± 1 Floyds.
I'm not sure how I missed that you were going to go to Suttons Bay, and Cedar. Good you are at least going to briefly go into that peninsula, northwest of Traverse City.
I also didn't know Itasca had another brewery opening up, besides Church Street. Interesting to learn!
Psst...can you now reveal the secret brewery?
I looked at the map, and also took a look at the Google document of the itinerary of places you're planning to visit on that trip. That sounds like it'll be a lot of fun to go through those northern Lake Michigan breweries and towns, have a great trip!
Surprised you aren't doing at least a few brief stops on the peninsula that's northwest of Traverse City, i.e. Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau, etc. Ah well, I can't wait to see all your pics, when you come back from this trip!
what a mötley crëw
