Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

what??? have you been drinking?
26 mi. one-way? i might be free. 2 new beers at FFF, i might swing by there if in the area. anybody else?
My bad, I mean THIS Sunday. 5/13/18.
Anyway, I'm planning on a short ride to 18th Street Brewery in Hammond if anyone's interested. This will be a slow ride that can split into a slow group and fast group. 26 miles. Train back option. Leave from Waveland Golf Course at 10 a.m. by the Clocktower.
or mother's day?
Any rides set for Sunday, May 6, 2018?
thanks sergey, let's get some more miles in next weekend?
psyched about my last-minute dld tix! :-)
Indeed, thanks all for a great ride on a great day. I am rather stiff today. The pace was a bit brisk considering the low mileage so far this year. A month from now, it will be easier.
serge, nope! :-(
or, maybe? 3f is going to make some more dld tickets available, so i need to go down earlier. i think too early to ride. but i could throw my bike in the car and meet you down there? text me sometime.
