Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Third Step Ride posted and awaiting approval. this sun. 3/26 leaving from Intelligentsia Broadway at 9. Partly to mostly cloudy. High 41F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. 15%. Nice!

Get ready for Spring brewery rides! I am leading 16 rides to microbreweries on the NW side of Chicago, every other Thurs. evening starting April 6, rolling out at 6pm. All start at Earth Rider Cycling, 1873 N Milwaukee Ave, with routes of 10-15 miles on bike paths or low traffic streets. Check out the schedule and RSVP.
All rides are free but bring cash or credit for beer and/or food. At the end of the series in Oct. we'll vote on our favorite so join us for as many as you can.
