Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Let's try 1090, I've been up and down Sheridan a lot recently. After that we can improvise.

It opens at 12, so meet at 10 at Intelligencia if you want coffee, leave at 10:30, we'll pick up a couple of people at Damen and Wilson around 10:50. Suggested route

Ravinia, perhaps?

But 1090's fine, too.

Maybe, Serge, where are you thinking? We could also stop at 1090 first if you like their food better.
