I'd like to have the March and April rides planned further ahead, and I'm looking for suggestions for post-ride social time and routes. I'd like to nail down the March ride next week so I can share the post-ride location. We did Kickstand last month, doing Asado on Sunday. Dinkel's next month? Other ideas for a good spot to warm up over coffee with a group?

Bike Winter will be volunteering again with The Night Ministry, a social service non profit that helps homeless, run away and at risk youth, in East Lakeview on Thursday, Feb 10.  Volunteers (and funds) are needed Thursday as well as the night before to grocery shop and prepare the food packages.

Unlike other volunteer opportunities, we will be providing the food as well as manpower, so money and/or time are needed. The cost of the food should equal $250-$350.

We are looking for volunteers for 2 shifts:

Wednesday, Feb 9th (6:30-9 PM)  : 3-5 Volunteers - Purchase and Prepare Food

Thursday, Feb 10th (7 - 10:30 PM) : 4-6 Volunteers -Orientation at The Night Ministry Offices at 3262 N Clark, then  on The Street with The Night Ministry Van a block away passing out food and talking to folks.

Please email me and include which shift or shifts you'd like to volunteer and/or if you'd like to contribute some funds.

The calendar event is here : http://www.thechainlink.org/events/bike-winter-volunteer-night-at
