And what better place to wear them than at the 1st Tweed Ride in Indy on the 23rd? Erin & I have already made arrangements - I hope to have the Lady's Rudge ready for her. Anyone esle game? It's only 3 hours away!!!

I have already ordered me one of those BBC T-shirts and, unfortunately, I couldn't resist a full-price STAY CALM AND CARRY ON one as well.

Alan, I also have the broadcast version The Ride of My Life (although I'm sure the book is better) if you want it. SlyRed is getting a copy.

Lord Alan, do let us know how this digital discovery goes ...

EVERYONE ELSE!

Just in time for the holidays, our British cousins over the the other BBC has made us a deal we just simply can't refuse: BBC long-sleeve T-shirts at the paltry price of $8.98 American!

There is a very, very strong possibility that we will have signed up for my-expat-network by the end of the day, I've just been looking at what is available on BBC & ITV online! I didn't really grasp how straight-forward it was when you were describing it before the last Tweed ride.

My sentiments exactly. The only way to see quality BBC programmes is to have iPlayer.

That struck my wife, Janet, & I recently: we don't have BBC America, but I often glance at what they have on in the evening and don't see the point of them showing what might be regarded as mainline USA progrqamming - rather defeats the point of being BBC America, IMHO?

Several years ago when Comcast offered BBC America on their digital service I gleefully subscribed so I could watch quality British programming. Now BBC America only airs shows that will be popular with a large sector of America. I almost never watch it anymore. Call me an elitist snob.

I use http://www.my-expat-network.co.uk/

$8.00 per month, watch BBC iPlayer and ITV. You'll need a fast broadband connection. Been using it for at least a year and highly recommend it.
