Several of us BBC'ers will be at the Chicago Winter Bike Swap on Saturday, January 21, 2012 showing off Ace of Clubs and selling raffle tickets for the bike.  Come by and see us.

I'm preparing the first batch of raffle tickets for the Ace of Clubs bike raffle benefitting Working Bikes Cooperative, Chicago.  If you'd like to sell tickets PM me and I'll print up a batch for you.  The initial printing will be 20 tickets per person.  Tickets ar $2 each or 3 for $5.  I'll take PayPal orders for a minimum $20 order (12 tickets)

i always feel weird about white/cream tires, they look good when you don't ride the bike and they're new, but after a while....

I think you're right,  the cream tyres look better. 

Fenders or not was the tough decision... that, and I will miss being able to skid with the coaster brake.

I like both, for different reasons: I like the bare 'scorcher' look of the original and I like the 'updated-to-modern' look of the latter 3-speed/5-speed, but I think I'd flip the handlebars back up the 'right' way? I actually like the Schwalbe white or cream tyres on both styles!
