Apparently Chicago is so big time hip we are used to advertise events in SF...

Why not do the 16th and end up at the BG?

Midnight Marauders is also the 16th (well, late on the 16th). Not that there is 100% overlap between the two, but I do know some of the usual suspects on the Tweed rides are regular Marauders. Any decrease in plundering and pillaging during the winter would also be unacceptable. This is going to be a challenge, considering it is one of the slowest biking months of the year.

Well there's the 16th of January, which is a Saturday and could commemorate the historic signing of the Treaty of Westminster of course. Not that you need to be told, but that is obviously the treaty signed by England and Prussia to end the Third Anglo-Dutch war. Huh. I didn't even know there was a Second Anglo-Dutch war.

That is also the day that the Cavern Club, the eventual launching club of the Beatles, opened its doors in 1957.

And some other stuff. Anyway my hand is up for the 16th!

Duly noted. Ride date suggestions are welcome. Someone will end up unhappy, but I'd like to accommodate as many as possible.

I vow to never miss a tweed ride again (barring unforeseen circumstances like work).

John....I have now missed 2 tweed rides in a row. It is unacceptable. please do not pick:

January 2 or 30 if you can possibly help it. I do hold a key vote in the lower house of parliament, as you well know, and you never know when you or your boys will need a favor....wink wink.....nudge nudge......
