I was there that night SW when CM came to town for the spindle, quite a site to behold, there are some great vids on youtube.
This tweed ride is in the initial thought stages. I am trying for multiple events,
street closings for kids and family, a race for the speed people and the tweed as the headliner. I will keep you posted....
What a day, time to hit the Salt Creek trail! Later!

Tally-Ho! We have a honorable tradition of supporting Berrrrrrrrrr-Wyn! We did a Critical Mass out there to save The Spindle!

Benevolent?!?!?! I'm just hoping to avoid the supine on any future rides %-{)>

Speaking of which, the august Central Committee of the BBC gathered last night to discuss the 2010 calendar for our Tweed Rides.

"Drum Roll Please...."

Saturday, 23 Jan 2010 - Winston's Tweed Ride memorializing the 45th Anniversary of Winston Churchill's much lamented death (actually on the 24th). Viscount Wallace (aka John), Sir Aaron, & I will be coordinating this one.

Saturday, 1 May 2010 - The Better Red than Dead Tweed Ride coordinated by Sir Aaron. And I'm happy to announce that my Lenin-esque visage should be fully restored by then...

Saturday, 11 Sept 2010 - The 2nd Annual Don't Mention the War Tweed Ride coordinated by myself.

And finally...

Saturday, 6 Nov 2010 - The 2nd Annual Guido Fawkes' Tweed Ride coordinated by Viscount Wallace!

I agree with the image below only if Garth agrees to be benevolent. Well?
