I had just read about that. The landing for sure, but Buckingham Fountain...again? I think we can look for places she went to, or just places named after her, or actual English pubs (speckled amidst the sea of Irish pubs).

We should then meet up at the Queen's Landing, named in July 1959 when Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip sailed down the newly opened St. Lawrence Seaway and stopped in Chicago aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia. They alighted here and walked to a dinner in their honor at the Chicago Hilton hosted by Mayor Richard J Daley. It was the first time in history that a reigning British monarch had come to Chicago.

Oh, so it's a way of circumventing the Good Lord's tendency to piss (what did you think rain was?) on the Monarchy?

Her Birthday is traditionally celebrated on June 12 as it may not be raining that day.

Ummm... Eric - can't find any reference to the Queen's birthday on the 12th. Says she was born April 21.

Hey, sorry for delayed response. Landed a gig designing a booth for Greenfest. Its been an insane week!

So a God Save the Queen Ride?
Let's make it an afternoon ride on June 12th. Perhaps schedule it from around 1 to 6? That way people from Kidical Mass can join us, and Naked bikers can ditch a bit early?
