Look like I won't be able to do the ABCE this year. can't get the necessary time off on either side of the weekend. But I do want to start thinking about and planning for an early Fall Tweed Ride. Originally, the CC had discusses 11 September; but to be frank, I'm not comfortable with doing it on 9.11 so perhaps later in September of early in October?

Sounds great for next year! I got 2 white, ribbed brake cables and 2 white, ribbed 3speed shifter cables (with the knurled barrels) for a buck a piece from a rather old gent in the big parking lot - he sold mostly decals...

I was there early and left by 10:30am. Got another ($20) Prestube rack - the seller told me that it was for a Raleigh bicycle, duh - and a Schwinn springer fork ($85).

Saw that Raleigh, nice! And a few other British-made steeds - but, of course, it was predominantly Schwinnville, etc.

OMG! I saw them hanging your bike and Erin commented that we should show up in force next year with our Brit Steeds! BTW, got some great deals on parts since they were British dimensions - much cheaper than freakin' eBay!!!
