Chris,
You should join the Meet Up groups. It sort of like Yahoo Group. By joining the Meet Up Groups you can join individual groups of folks that share your interests in cycling or start your own group. It's hard to explain by email but group can be set up for any interest whether for any area of cycling, hiking, the arts, etc. I joined a few groups for outdoor hiking, cycling, etc and whenever a group member knows of or hosts an event for that group an invite is generated to all folks that are members of that particular group inviting member to participate. Joining and membership are free. The URL to the site is: http://www.meetup.com/
Best regards,
Peter
Hey everyone, I have not been around, because I moved to DC! Well the wife moved and I followed :) We are in Arlington, VA.
I'm wondering if any of you know of any like minded groups in the area. I hope to find a great group of friendly people like you guys, I am not sure that is possible. I haven't found anything close the the Chainlink for the DC Metro area yet.
I have found some more formal organizations like Dandies & Quaintrelles, but looking for more laid back groups. Been looking on meetup.com, but can't find any tweeders/seersuckers / old 3 speed riders.
Miss you all
