On that note someone needs to develop a carbon tweed-fibre frame...
Ultra-light -ultra tweedy!
It's been a dry winter for the cheap English 3-speeds. Last year I found a bunch for <$50 but this year I've seen nada. Maybe later this spring more will shake out.
I've got about 7-8 bikes in the storage garage I need to restore and turn around right now plus I'm building 2 for myself so I really need to get cracking and get some more done before the rush. A few 3-speeds but they are not Nottinghams. The Raleigh-USA "Sport" variants seem to be falling into my lap lately.
Kevin, I hope you aren't going to flood the Chicago market with a glut of English 3-speeds...

We don't want to burst the Nottingham bubble here ;)
Kevin T., if you have an opportunity, do share a photo of the Norman!
Dear BBC’ers,
I’ve designated March as the official kick-off month for organizing The Manor & Meadow Tour. Though we’re off to a good start with raffle ticket sales for the Ace of Clubs bike, there is still a lot of work to be done. We have 100 days to put together an excellent ride.
I need firm commitments of time from 15 to 20 people to handle tasks like being Ride Marshalls, serving at the tea tables, selling raffle tickets and assisting the organizers with routine jobs.
If you can commit your entire day on Sunday, June 10 please get in touch with me through The Chainlink, The Manor & Meadow Tour website or the Manor & Meadow Tour Facebook page. All proceed from the raffle and donations at The Manor & Meadow Tour go directly to Working Bikes Cooperative, Chicago.
Thanks,
SlyRed (Darrell Yarborough)

If someone were to buy that Norman it would be safe to say nobody else would have the same dress bike as you at the prom tweed ride
