Hey, anyone want a gorgeous Ladie's Raleigh Sport for the tweed ride Sunday?
This one is going up for sale, and it hasn't been posted anywhere else yet. It's in really great condition, has spent most of it's life inside and unridden. And as you can see, it was the star of a couple tweed rides ;)
My friend is asking $275, and it's definitely worth it.

Manor& Meadow: except for the booze (DuPage County)
I don't know how I missed this from Sir Michael Bullis, the Most Distinguished Duke of Dundee - West. But I think his rather perceptive Lake Pepin 3 Speed Tour Nutter Training is perfect advice for any gentlemen's tour particularly Sly Red's upcoming Manor & Meadow Tour!
Yes, I was definitely smitten, isn't she a beauty?
Shame about the toupe, though!
Many congratulations to the survivors of this weekend's Lake Pepin 3 Speed Tour! BBC delegates faced 30 MPH headwinds on Friday, murderous inclines on Saturday, and pissin'-down rains on Sunday. Others were cruelly cut down by the Norovirus making this the BBC's 1st Annual Puke-n-Pedal!
But not all experiences were disasterous as one of our company (who's initials are Alan Lloyd) met a fetching candidate for Bike Wife and Jeannette, the even more fetching companion of Ed Skelly, provided numerous and helpful extractions as our most felicitous and comely Sag-Wagoneer! Many, many, many thanks!!!!!
Now let us turn our attention towards and warm our expectations to the (hopefully) less windy, arduous, and plague-ridden Manor & Meadow Tour on 10 June 2012!!!!
I feel sorry for that poor shlub's wife when he gets home. Wonder what is on his mind after dinner?
Here's a film that shows how the Raleighs are made.
No lycra in this one.
1:39 & 3:21 in: and why is that there's always (at least) one nutter wearing Lycra?
