WAH!!! This is great!!!! Buddaa38 wants to bring his bike cart with sounds. Would you all suggest to him what would be appropriate? Perhaps Brit Bands including The Beatles and others? Maybe some classical music a la Britain - Hayden, for example?

Crap, sounds like it will be a fun time. Wish I could make it. On the other hand, my boss has been threatened with bodily harm if he schedules me to work during the 3ST.

Oh man the pickings are fine gentlemen. I just got some lovely BLUE tweed. What I can't say.

For the financially less advantaged, I've spotted some fine tweed at:

* Salv. Army @ 4315 Bway - largest selection & well organized
* Salv. Army @ 3301 Montrose -saw a Mark Shale jacket for $6
* Brown Elephant on Halsted seemed to have more (and Harris tweed to boot) than the one on Clark.
* The Ark @ 3345 Lincoln had lots of jackets and cool old ties
* I'll be hitting the S. Army @3837 Fullerton this week if anyone wants to go.

One of the prizes for the ride will be donated by yours truly and is being picked up at the engravers on Friday . . .

I'll be Tweed shopping tomorrow. Hitting up the Brown Elephant first

::fingers crossed::

I finished installing a new shifter cable on my trusty British steed; have picked out the appropriate wool socks; and made sure that moths haven't chewed through my tweed overcoat.

BRING SATURDAY ON!
