it just gets worse;)
Reminds me of something I heard years ago. A friend who was going to school in Boston had a sprained ankle and found it difficult to get from dorm to class on crutches. Tried the trip on his bike, strapping a crutch to the side for the other end of the trip. Problem solved. ;)
...when you no longer feel the need to chase down the guy who just blew by.
Sad but true :(

Haha! love it. I remember when I always HAD to be going top speed. At a certain age you just stop caring and start enjoying yourself.
I wonder if that guy was trying to catch Aaron Bussey (to win the "fastest in cast" catergory) . sorry couldn't resist.
Reminds me of when a guy with one leg (and one pedal on the bike to match) just FLEW by me on the North Branch Trail. I'm built for comfort, not for speed.
When I lived in Uptown I used to see a guy in a wheelchair that he powered with a couple of handles connected to the wheels by cranks, looked home made. This guy used to go like Hell down Sheridan.

What's the age limit to post here?

Mental or chronological?

either?  I don't have a biking story just yet, but I can add that I passed early on by a pregnant lady speedwalking when I ran the half marathon a few years ago....

My morning commute has gone from 22 minutes to around 27. That's when I knew I was gettin old.
