Women Bike Chicago--It's Tonight! and reminder to short ladies

First of all, our ride and picnic to Millenium Park for the all-female Mariachi Band is one week away!  Are you attending?  Please let us know.

Secondly,  are you around 5 feet tall, give or take a couple of inches?  Legacy Frameworks has a new bike prototype for short folks, and Levi would like to have some test riders.  Would you be interested in coming early to Daley Plaza on September 4--say 4:45 to 5:00--to ride Legacy's bike?  If you are, Levi will be there!

If you look at the original post you can see what Levi was trying to do.  

I can be there at 4:45, but I don't want him to bring the bike to the Daley Center just for me to try it, so that is why I am asking for RSVP to this.  He would like to have feedback from more than one small-framed rider.

Thanks, Levi!  I will definitely be there--maybe west side of eternal flame is better than the base of the Picasso as a meeting place since there always seem to be a lot of people climbing on that thing and taking pictures. :-)

For the meeting place on the Great Lawn at Millenium Park for those who don't ride with us to Trader Joes--I forgot to grab the flags I was going to bring, so I am just going to try to fly my bright pink jacket somehow to mark our spot!

And try to come early to try Legacy Frameworks' new bike.

I'm in a rush to finish some work- really hoping to make it tonight but it's gonna be close. Got my divvy key in the mail today so I'm eager to try it out!

You are going to love that Divvy key! If you can't make it to Daley Plaza by 5:30 maybe go over to Millenium Park by about 6:30?  There are Divvy stations on the north side of Madison just west of Michigan, on the east side of Michigan just north of Monroe,  and on the west side of Michigan just south of Randolph, so easy to find a place to dock.
