What's this doing in the bike lane?

Share your pics, videos, streets, stories of what you find in the bike lane of the non-bike variety that has an impact on your ride and/or your safety. I've decided to keep it a little more open ended - cars, snow, buses, garbage, cabs, etc. If they shouldn't be in the bike lane, go ahead and add it to this thread. Please be safe if you are taking pics or video! :-)

My hope is that we can collectively build some evidence of what we see when riding in the city with the overall hope of better enforcement of "bikes only" and improving maintenance.

Well said.

It's not enough to throw a coat of paint on the ground. The next, vital step is to normalize bike lanes as an area exclusive to cyclists. Instead, the city is normalizing bike lanes as an area to park a vehicle, completely defeating the point of installing them in the first place.

I saw that same cab. Coming south on Dearborn at the same time. That area is always a cluster with drivers pulling out of the mid block street.

I think it was a 7-11 delivery. Sometimes those guys are great, this one not so much. Though the fact that Dearborn has been destroyed there for 6 months isn’t helping.

Nearly sideswiped on Orleans by the Mart today. Does this take the cake?

You can't see it on the video, but after she turned the corner and I looked at her again she stuck her hand out the window and give a hand-closing wave. Plate looked like E27 6667.
