Share your pics, videos, streets, stories of what you find in the bike lane of the non-bike variety that has an impact on your ride and/or your safety. I've decided to keep it a little more open ended - cars, snow, buses, garbage, cabs, etc. If they shouldn't be in the bike lane, go ahead and add it to this thread. Please be safe if you are taking pics or video! :-)

My hope is that we can collectively build some evidence of what we see when riding in the city with the overall hope of better enforcement of "bikes only" and improving maintenance.

Update: More Hashtags to Capture Vehicles in the Bike Lane

With popular hashtags:
#BikeLaneShaming

#LaneSpreading (Chicago Bike Selling)

#ClearTheWay (ActiveTrans), there are many options to capture violations.

We think you should use ALL of them AND post your photos on The Chainlink. ;-)

Whenever I see something like that, I'm always tempted to ride to the front of the line and then stop in front of the first car indefinitely.

I've ridden to the front and just started verrrrry slooooooowly when the light turns green.

125 W Kinzie St. 311 report submitted. 'Got me a new 1080P body camera, which is going to make it a lot easier to snag these dumb sh*ts.

It's a Chinese made 'SAFEVANT 1296P HD Police Body Camera'. It's marketed at police and security companies. It has 32 Gb of built-in memory, and is water resistant. It clips to my vest. I wanted something that was fairly small given that I ride Divvy, and can't permanently mount it. $104 on Ebay.

It looks cool. Lots of comments on Amazon that the clip broke. Does it seem sturdy?

I think the clip is sturdy, but anything mechanical has a chance of breaking. The company seems pretty responsive to requests to replace broken clips.
