What do you think of the "end caps" (cement curbs protecting the bike lane)?

Milwaukee Ave just got them now as well. Did anyone ride Milwaukee this morning that would like to tell us how the commute worked with the new cement curbs?

I think it will take a year to truly now how successful this change is. Curious of how the city will take care of clearing the bike lanes of snow and keeping them clean through out the year.

First impression? I like 'em.

Not having used them a lot, I love them. I feel much safer when traffic is physically separated from cyclists.

The caps look good. Can't wait to check them out. Not a fan of having cars parked to the left of the lane, though. More trouble than it's worth IME.

Haven't biked that way this week, but last week it was confusing as the cars were still parking next to the curb, requiring bikes in to the traffic lane. Some good signage and education might be in order.

Milwaukee Avenue 'Hipster Highway' Gets City's 1st Bike Lanes With End Caps
A curbside bike lane and "buffer-protected lanes" were among safety improvements added last week to a busy stretch of Milwaukee Avenue dubbed the "Hipster Highway" for the droves of commuting cyclists who use the corridor.
