Some of us are just more expressive than others.
I've read most of Michael B's discussions, I think this is the first of yours I've read - I'm really bored.
Quantity is never proof of quality.
And you have 5 discussions started
These are mine, observations, interesting finds, poetry even:

I have to depart, Q4 numbers for last year are due end of the week. I just do not understand the cranky, whats the point? Guys that don't pitch in much taking the time to complain.
Oh damn, I thought I'd pulled all those down!
Again, quantity is not an indicator of quality.
What was your implication when comparing the quantity of your content with that of Michael Brosilow's?
Damn I'm bored if I'm actually engaging on the CLink forum.....
Oy, nothing like compressed timelines.

My posts amount to 96 which is greater than his number 15. His implication is that I have nothing to say, if 96>15 and I have nothing to say where does that put him? Alas, I'm happy the weather is going to turn, as cyclists a bit of our riding is weather dependent. I'm sorry that you and he find so little interesting in the world to post things, the site could always use more people who find something to contribute.
I'm going to wish you the best, the boss is buying lunch which sounds nice but that means we have to work through. Feel free to read any of my posts, I put myself out there in a world where people often don't. It's easy to be passive and reactive. I personally think bad poetry is far, far better than the people who don't try. Both of you feel free to move yourself into the category of chainlink members who put things up; photos, things you find online, an observation, a tool tip, a report on a trail - anything really. Some people will read it and hopefully get something out of it.
People that are often bored are usually boring. I am also pretty big on excessive civility and I find the lack of it, at times, trying. I don't see the point of being other than positive and I pump out compliments to the people around me like a faucet does water.
Stay warm, take care after work its to a pool and then a dark room, until then it's wrangling spreadsheets that are not uniform, ug.
Anything beyond 3 days out they are just guessing!!!!
I agree, but it is enough to give me some hope. I'm more of a fair weather cyclist and am starting to get cabin fever.
Oh, I'm going to speak up... I have talked about weather too so I am just as guilty. And yes, this report is probably more magic and less reality than I'd like but, just like everyone else, I'm super tired of the snow and the ice and the cold so this gave me a little hope. I have no snark to give here, just a confession - I cannot wait for spring. This winter has been kinda nasty. Yes, this is a silly discussion but I think Haddon can get a pass on this one as long as he doesn't come back every day and post new updates ;-)
Moving on... Michael, I need to message you with some RAGBRAI and Tour de Shore questions... :-)
I tell you what, there are tons of children’s stories where gnomes or faeries come out at night and get all sorts of things done while people sleep. Sometimes they make cookies and bake cakes and other times they harvest wheat or plant the garden, it's the idea that small little fantastical creatures will get all sorts of stuff done for us in the wee hours of the night.
The little creatures need to get with the times, we don't need them to bake or garden or any of that. They need to enter the modern era and fix spreadsheets, write papers and proposals. I know several people who could use a visit from the rejuvenating ABD (all but dissertation) spirits. I can buy more cookies and cakes than I could ever eat and I don't have a yard so that doesn't matter but there is all sorts of digital bits and bytes in my life that need A LOT of work.
At the very, very, very, very, very, very, very least vampires and werewolves need to put at the top of their hit list people who unprotect pages and and unlock cells and rearrange possibly thousands (tens of thousands?) of records and when wonder why you are tracking them down with steam coming off your brow.
Or at least we can dream............
I, for one, appreciate Haddon's long-range chart. I would say my most-viewed web site is probably NOAA, especially during the winter. Granted, I don't claim I would rank highly in the Most Interesting Man In The World competition.
