Been catcalled? Harassed while riding your bike? Touched by a motorist? All some pretty unsettling occurrences. While this video appears to be staged, this behavior does happen to cyclists. Have you seen/experienced anything similar while riding your bike?

I've had that happen, too.
I had a similar thing done to me by a woman. Only she couldn't pass me on the fly, had to wait until I was stopped at the light (see "shoaling"). One can easily perceive it as sexist but probably not true in all cases. I think people just don't like being passed.
BTW, I've had women legit pass me on the fly and I didn't try to leapfrog or shoal them!
These things definitely happen but more often than not, super glad when a fellow cyclist does a nod or a smile, respects my space and if I get passed, I'm totally ok with it. And super impressed if it's a Divvy because those bikes are SO heavy!
Cool.
Also, I always try to judge a passing effort so if I'm in a holding pattern just behind you I'm simply considering a pass or allowing you to speed up. I am exercising when I'm riding (commuting or otherwise) so I want to move at my own preferred pace. Passing someone only slightly slower than me means an extended effort that cannot be extended indefinitely so, initially, I have to ride closer than I normally would like to (and for sure closer than you would like) but there is no ill intention.
Waterbottles twice.
Once by a cop, which was jim dandy.
Most times when I go to the pool.
Never mugged? And I used to commute from Woodlawn to Pilsen all summer long, sans issue.
And can't wait until the dummy trolls from Streetsblog show up. D: Also anti-sexual assault ride on 4/21! SEE YA THERE.
4 Times! Shoutout to the chill couple at Armitage and Halsted who stuck by me when I started taking photos of the car and holding my ground. And then said, "We're ATA supporters" and I still worked there, ha.
