Ya, this thing is now my desktop background makes me feel all Carl Sagan-ish

What a fantastically beautiful three days of riding*.  I rode somewhere in Chicago I've never ever been before, which is very rare.  The east bank of the south lagoon.  Narrower than a sidewalk and not all level, but I figured worst case I'd fall in a few feet of water.  Bordered by lake shore drive, easy to get on from Fullerton or North, and perfectly maintained but no other people on the whole mile of it.
(*Or four days counting Mass Friday, or 10+ weeks counting consecutive days riding 10+ miles.)

When I need a happy pick-me-up my 2 year old son and I will listen to "What does the fox say" and try to dance to it.  Yes I know the song is annoying but to giggle and dance with my kiddo makes any crappy day better.

Sweet!  Great mental image - tough NOT to be happy when visualizing it.  ;)

It's almost Miami Vice with this and it's killing my brain trying to figure out where the photo got taken. Was some strange optical effect where the light bounced across the whole Lake Michigan? This is causing me problems to consider.

The other option is that the photo is reversed and taken on the very south shore.  I only wish I knew.

Had to say, but didn't wanna start a fresh thread about it, and here seems vaguely appropriate, TCL's been vastly more calm, positive, welcoming and respectful the last two weeks.  Wanted to thank the admins for finally acting. Better late than never.

Happily, I have to agree Andronymous, the CL has hopefully, changed for the better. Thanks to the admins and moderators, more Chainlinkers are "coming out of hiding" and posting, and reading more on the CL, knowing that the moderators have things under control. The new rules and moderation do seem to be fair and even-handed. Hopefully, things over time have evolved here on the CL, for the positive impact of all involved in our community ! :-) ¿♡!

We're glad to see that the Chainlink has become a more pleasant place to be. We hope it will remain that way. I've been enjoying it myself.

Wishing you all pleasant rides and other outdoor time on this beautiful day. Cheers!
