So a Bike Company couldn't get endorsed by The Lorax? Had to be an SUV?

Killing me with irony....

And not a hybrid or and electric but just a "good gas mileage" SUV. Unreal.

Gabe, everyone knows that bicycles aren't Truffula Tree friendly!

I can just see your train of thought now - "WTF?  With all the companies the producers of The Lorax whored themselves out to, why not a bicycle manufacturer too?  That's some bull....!"

Stephen Colbert has a few thoughts on this.

Saw the piece on Colbert originally and was surprised no one has posted here already. 70 companies with tie ins to The Lorax and a Bike Company isn't among them. That's fuckin disgraceful.

I guess none of the bike companies though a Lorax tie in was a good use of advertising money.

Personally, if a regular car is getting the same or better mileage than an hybrid, it's just as good or better.  Especially, with the extra batteries and stuff that the hybrid needs.  With an electric car, it's a bit more complicated given the differences in power generation and energy losses.  But the SUV part is pretty bad regardless.

Not sure that they have same clout and deep pockets as the auto industry to fit the film industries bill. I would be with you on something more like the McDonald's Cycle Center.

If we could survive off of irony alone, we'd be in business.

The MPAA is not Truffula Tree Friendlytm.

it's just another 1#er corporate master demanding you to bow down to it and give it your money.

It's Black March anyhow -why are people aiding and abetting the enemy in the middle of one of the most important boycotts in modern time anyhow?  Suess is rolling in his grave with this movie.  Everybody go get a star tattooed on thar...
