Someone talking about it here, with video of truck in wrong

The article says "bikes" - plural. More than one cyclist hit?

Oh, Rahm.

Gotta love reading the comments people leave on DNAinfo...almost as bad as the comments people leave on Yahoo

That sentence jumped out at me as well. Unbefreakinglievable. Only confirms what many of us know, crash statistics in Chicago are seriously understated and the incidents are too often ignored.

From the Tribune article:

Two ambulances and a fire engine reported to the scene, but nobody was hurt seriously enough to require hospitalization, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford. The Chicago Police Department had no record of the crash.

CFD response, officers on the scene (assuming Rahm had his security detail with him), and still no police report written, imagine my utter lack of of surprise. Even with the spot light on a crash, the CPD still can't follow procedure and file basic paperwork. Since there was a fire department response, a crash report is required to be writen on the scene.

Mayoral photo op.

Not taking anything from the victim, I'm glad she's relatively uninjured. The mayor probably needs a little more "good press".

Just stop reading the comments after the discussion about the dashcam video...

I hope she gets legal representation, because without it I really doubt anyone is going to do anything with that video.
