Hi. I am a long time city rider and am trying to organize a weekly ride. Me and another person are planning a ride that will be promoting clean energy and we are training and looking to build notariety. The ride will always be in association with the green theme. Here is a mapmyride map that I have built so far. http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/il/northbrook/193124527... The ride is around points in Chicago that have a green theme. This includes wind turbines and the Center for Green Technology. I am able to share my knowledge of city riding, but keep in mind your ability. Perhaps the rides will vary between long-distance fast-pace to site-seeing rides.
The proposed time is 7:00 am on Saturdays.

love the idea although I cringe at a 7 am start time personally. I do understand the need to get out and about before heavy traffic.
The url for the blog is ,"http://teamappleseed.blogspot.com"
Could someone suggest a different time besides 7 am?
I am scheduling this Saturday to be riding. I am deciding between the turbines near Yojimbo's garage and Smart Bikes.
Also, if you know where the turbine along the lake shore is, I would like to know.
Tomorrow. June 20th is the first ever "Green Corps" ride. The meeting place is Clybourn and Division near Green City Market, the Chicago Center for Battered Women and Yojimbo's Garage. 7 O'Clock until 11 o'clock. Need help with a better name and a game plan.

Sincerely,
Nate Maier
Would anyone be interested in starting a group on chainlink centered around cycling as a clean energy form of transportation?
