Please Note Bike Restrictions About Trains This Weekend

Bikes are not permitted on South Shore trains this weekend June 11-12. 

In addition to this weekend, bikes are not permitted during the following Chicago special events:

  • June 11-12 Blue Fest
  • July 9-10 during Taste of Chicago
  • July 30-31 during Lollapalooza
  • August 20-21 Air & Water Show

I checked Metra and only found this for "Warning Dates"

Due to high ridership, there is an increased likelihood that bicycles cannot be accommodated during the following events:

  • June 11-12 Blue Fest
  • July 9-10 during Taste of Chicago
  • July 30-31 during Lollapalooza
  • August 20-21 Air & Water Show

Bicycle warnings dates are also in effect June 10-12 due to Blues Fest and Spring Awakening:
