Too bad this has kind of faded-- I think it's a wonderful idea and we had some great events a few years ago.

Even if I'd have heard about it in time to plan something I don't think I would have been able to.

We should pick a day at a time of the year when there's less happening and declare a Chicago PARKing day.

Bet we could get the current cast of CDOT on board.

I agree.  It really gets lost in the shuffle in all that's on the calendar here in a typical September.  Even having it in mid to late October could work better.

How do we build momentum around a special Chicago day?

I'm probably the wrong one do do so as my current projects have me pretty maxed out . . .

I love Parking Day! Last year, there were quite a few in my neighborhood and this year, there were none. I'll have to fix that next year.
