New Markings on Milwaukee Avenue...

Riding home from work on Milwaukee Ave. last night, I noticed some orange spray paint markings on the street going through Wicker Park, south of North Avenue. I hope it's for a reworking of the skinny little shared lanes south of the crotch. Anyone know anything about this?

I'm guessing it was for vendors of the Wicker Park fest last weekend.

Good point.  They actually repaved a decent section of Milwaukee between Wood and Division not too long ago, but unfortunately, no change to skinny, shared lanes.

Wishing the city never made that deal with LAZ parking.

Maybe the city can give LAZ all that free parking in the west loop in exchange for the crowded Milwaukee corridor parking spaces.
