I'm quoted in this article!  I commented "One word - tourism" etc. 

I was as giddy as a schoolgirl when I saw my comment cited by Blair Kamin.

I was happy to hear that the Chicago Plan Commission has approved this.  Blair Kamin did a nice job with the write-up.

Excited.  NPR says will take until 2018 to complete?  Has anyone heard other ETA's?

There's discussion of the timeline in the wgnradio link above.  It will apparently be done in three phases, which will take 2 years each, if I remember correctly.  So, yeah, that would sync with 2018.
