I wanted to give this thread a cryptic and cutesy title, but I have a feeling this one's going to be bouncing around every forum and list more than once over the next few weeks, so I thought better . . .

Without further adieu:

Good for her.

Does she have a sister?

As always it is more entertaining to read the comments than it is to read the actual news article.

This one was my favorite bike-hater.  Whatever would drive someone to dislike bicyclists so much?  I wonder...

I hope she had any licensing and permits that are required in her town to
ride a bike. I also hope she was wearing a helmet. Not following any one
of these is a civil offense and should be punished with a monetary
forfeiture. Also, I can't help but think her unborn baby was not wearing a
helmet. That is irresponsible parenting. I hope CPS begins investigating
the behavior of this scofflaw before more innocents are put in danger by
her reckless behavior. Someone must step in and protect us all. I hope
the legislature will draft legislation to regulate the riding of bikes by
pregnant women.

Wow, you really can deliver just about anything on a bicycle these days.

Bike Hater?

i don't know... did you see a flashing red icon that read "SATIRE" somewhere around that post? Maybe a regulation-hater... Good stuff, though.

It would be cool to know if the Doctor and other attending staff commuted to bike that day also.
The smugness bar has been raised.
I'll never be able to clear that bar as I lack the equipment to build a copy of myself inside my own body.  This woman is pretty awesome in my book!
