Hi cyclists of Chicago,
On our bicycle world trip "Journey To The Horizon" we will visit Chicago next week. The "Journey To The Horizon" was a dream, a crazy idea. In march 2009 it became reality and we left our home country Germany to cycle east. Our destination was Beijing, China. Even we doubted in the beginning to reach Asia at all it turned out to become the adventure of a lifetime. After crossing eastern Europe, the middle East, central Asia and China we decided to continue traveling to satisfy our growing curiosity about different countries, cultures and landscapes. After south east Asia we went through Australia, New Zealand, South- and North America. In total we visited 30 countries in the past two and a half years and cycled more than 28 000 miles (www.reise-zum-horizont.com).
As we enjoy sharing our experiences with other people interested in traveling and cycling we created a photo presentation of our trip. This show is a visual and musical one hour journey around the world with our impressions and experiences as long distance cyclists.
All we need for sharing this is a room, computer (windows7), projector, screen and stereo at 17th or 18th of october at 7pm. The event would be for free. If someone could think of a place with this equipment please let us know as soon as possible. Thanks!
Greetings,
Tobias and Nicole

You guys are my heroes, as well as great motivators to this kind of trip for myself. I also have the "crazy" plan. Have you ever heard of a fellow countrymen of yours by the name of Heinz Stücke? I was fascinated reading about this guy. He's ridden 378000 miles in 48 years, and has seen 195 countries according to that wiki link. Looks like you guys are on your way!
Congrats and I'll do my best to check you guys out!
