I'm here every day because I love what we do. I love helping get the word out on bike safety, social rides, racing, touring, love of bikes (N+1 love to the moon and back) and pretty much everything on two wheels. BIKE LOVE. And I am not alone - that's why all of you come to The Chainlink every day.

Yesterday, I was interviewed about vehicles in the bike lanes and how it pertains to safety for cyclists. And it's inevitable - once thinking about safety, it's easy to think about all of the lives we lost last year in our community. It's heartbreaking.

My heart is full with love for so many local media sources that stay on this topic - helping make our issues more visible, working together towards safer streets for the most vulnerable (cyclists, pedestrians). That said, I really hope this summer I receive gobs of fluffy bike-related interview requests. Here are a few ideas I've been spit balling...

What should I wear to keep cool for my bike commute?

What's the best local bike pub "crawl"

If I ride my bike a lot, will my butt hurt?

If I ride my bike, can I eat the whole pie?

Ok, so now it's your turn - give me your fluffiest of fluffy bike-related article ideas. Maybe we'll even write a few of them.

And for some inspiration... here's Shakespeare wearing his Chainlink cycling cap because nothing says "fluff" quite like a poodle-mix wearing bike apparel.

"Do I need to buy a bunch of gear in order to ride a bike?"

Great ideas. I think both would be great future articles. :-)

that's a great idea! how about "The perks of biking your way to work"?
