The Chainlink

I have a broken guitar amp that I need to get from my place in Edgewater to a shop in Lincoln Square. Its 100lb mass is kinda bike-prohibitive (I don't have a trailer). Can I entice anyone to give me a lift this weekend with the promise of beer/spare bike parts/cold stone ca$h? Thanks in advance!

I have a trailer and would be happy to help you out after the Chiditarod. I've been itching for a chance to try it out.
JustJason - if you post something on the new Chainlink group Bike Movers you'll probably find someone!
Jason, will it fit in a bakfiets? If the weather is favorable (that is, no 30 mph headwinds; it's a beast to ride in a headwind), I could probably help out. I also have a trailer, but the bakfiets is more stable and secure.
You'd be welcome to use my trailer, but it's kind of out of the way for you. Unless my work would work out, then i could ride it in and you could take it home: home: near Montrose & Kimball, work: near Belmont & Lincoln. Let me know (you should have my email from last year as well).
Jason,
We have a large trailer with walls and cushioning that is a few blocks from you. (In fact, it functions like a lounge chair if you ever need to serve as a taxi!) You're welcome to borrow it. We'd need to see if the attachment hardware would work with your bike. Send me a message for address, if you'd like it.
Rachel
