We are going to be doing more FREE classes at Rapid Transit because, well mostly because I'm bored in the winter...
This Saturday night Clinic on winter biking basics from how to dress, how to ride, how to care for your bike and gear for both you and bike. The plan is for this to turn into a social ride after the clinic going to somewhere fun which I have not figured out yet so make some suggestions.
This Sunday morning we are going to revisit bicycle maintenance with another class so if you have something you want to learn or a problem on your bike that you would like to try and learn to fix yourself let us know and stop on by.
Also please give us suggestions for classes and clinics you might like to see here at the shop in the coming months. We are working on an 'urban riding' clinic and some other stuff but would love to hear what YOU would like to learn here.

I am interested in several of the ideas mentioned and Sunday mornings are ideal for my schedule.
Count me in for some of the future sessions. And thanks.
Count me in !
Depending on the weather, I might have my family with !!!
Class suggestions:
Differences in brakes (pro/cons/benefits of each type)
Differences between IGH's and externals (again, pros/cons/benefits)
Maybe even have a kid's class (if we can get some kids to come in on Sunday mornings ?) where you can go over basic safety and maintenance (you can never start a future bike rider too early !) :) And if we can maybe scrounge up some donations (get the kids a small blinky for their bike, or one of those safety "patrol" belts, or both...
These are just some ideas to throw around. Maybe you can "link-up" with other bike shops/businesses in the area for those donations, or some coupons for the kids. That way the kids get a "take-home" from one of your classes ?
Maybe a safety "Patrol" belt that has your place of business (Rapid Transit) on it. (Creates FREE advertising whenever the kids - or anyone else for that matter - ride their bikes, with that belt over their shoulder and across their back, or around their backpack, etc...
Just some ideas....

Wheel truing, maybe. I have basic skills but no more, and my knowledge is not very systematic. Nice thing to know.
+1
