Great morning for a faired 'bent. Headwind? Ha! :)

Because we are in a reclined positioned, recumbent riders are a less affected by a headwind than an upright, two-wheeled rider. However, getting far down in the drops on a two-wheeler pretty much equalizes that advantage. A fairing on a recumbent make you even more aerodynamic.

Mother Nature....my tomato plants are pissed at you...
It was cool, but no sweating!
Needs to be colder so I can get out of these cotton tee shirts and into a nice wool sweater.
Our tomatoes are doing better this year than last year. Oh wait, that is because we got a plot at the sunny McKinley Park Community Garden and last year we tried to grow them in our mostly shady back yard.
I absolutely love the riding weather we've been having this summer! I no longer feel the need to move to Vancouver or somewhere else with less brutal summers.

Yes - from Naperville to McDonald Cycle Center.
Saw two cars on Warren with their rear windows busted out last night.
