The haven't 'earned' the right to use the path.  Just like all the warning sings that were up this morning.

"Warning - next weekend this trail will be completely taken over by runners for their one-off charity thing, and screw everyone else!"

I don't know what's worse, the slew of runners; or the roadies who like to race down the LFT at 30+ MPH, almost grazing me as they pass.

What day?  I was hoping to get out and get some miles in this weekend.

Perfect day for a ride.

Lovely ride home yesterday afternoon and a lovely ride in this morning.

Back to some Winter gear today...sigh...

Its like that every year.

Also look for the "cool kids" that run lights.

and it seems this years crop of idiots wear the super large headphones.

But why, W.H.Y., have I seen so many no-helmet-iPod-wearing people lately? If you can't hear me passing you, you are a danger to yourself and others!

That's a feature! It's that much easier to tell that it would be a waste of time announcing that you are overtaking them. :-)

I suggest mounting a high-powered water gun to your handlebars and aiming for their headphones.

A bunch of pedestrians told me last night wasn't good for biking. Then again, none of them had raincoats or umbrellas. I was all decked out in the rain gear, and was perfectly fine, except for the fact the sleet stung when it hit me in the face.

I run lights every day, all year.  I guess I'm a cool kid!
