My 12 mile each way commute. Great day today.
I am so over this work day. I just want to go ride my bike!
Hm... an hour and 17 min.
Nice ride this morning. 65° and sunny. I saw Uncle Buck's house on my way. I meant to see it on way home yesterday but had to take Green Bay Rd into Wilmette to get some groceries. It pretty much looks the same... white house with black shutters, big tree in the corner of front yard, row of hedges along the side walk and a long walk way up to the front door. Next I wanna see the Home alone house, not too far from where I'm staying. I googled the address. by the way I don't like Bing maps, they don't have bicycle directions like google does.
Yet another beautiful ride in E-town this morning... Uncle Buck's house is still standing. I think Lincoln in Evanston is one of the most well manicured streets I've ever seen.
Its a wee bit chilly out there. I almost put on a jacket, and like 90% of the times I give thought to putting on a jacket, I'm glad I didn't. I almost forgot my motto: If it isn't fifty, a jacket will no fit me.
It's great, even with a few scattered drops that will be gone by this afternoon.
I looked at the radar this morning and thought it was gonna be raining the whole way. So I took the train because i don't ride in AM rain (gotta arrive presentable at work... I don't care about PM rain.) But it didn't' really rain.
I hate it when that happens!

I'm lucky in regards to the AM weather, not so much because I have to be terrifically presentable (while I don't wear a suit and tie at work, I can't come to work as a sweaty, stinking mess, either), but because I'm fortunate enough to to have a health club in the building which offers shower-only memberships. Did I tell you about the indoor parking? I think I might have. :-)
Interesting commute this morning. I had a doctor's appointment in Glenview, so I hopped on my trusty steed, rode there, then rode to the Loop via Harlem/Shermer/Mikwaukee, etc. All told, I had a 32-mile commute to work today.
