I enjoyed a tailwind on the LFP from Belmont most of the way to the Loop this morning...

Well I might have cheated by having the bike ride on the boat up to Racine ;-)

I rode in with my daughter in the bike trailer.  I loved the tailwind on the LFP, but hope it changes to the north on the ride home.

that's not cheating !!! I love seeing bikes on boats. it's like your boat is a bike-ferry.

Hey - how were the weather conditions for that trip ? We had to bail on sailing sunday due

to small craft advisories. 4-7 ft. waves, supposedly north winds create the biggest waves ?

We went up Friday and stayed until Monday when we continued to Milwaukee where we are now.  Sunday was really bad.  Monday was better early but built later in the day.  Yes, the waves are worst in Chicago when the wind blows from the north because it blows down the length of the lake.

And I rode my bike yesterday and today in Milwaukee.  Nice city.  Heedless pedestrians on their lakefront trails, here, too, but not as crowded!

Great day to ride up to the Botanic Gardens on NBT. Saw 4 deer along the way; they're so tame - didn't mind me stopping to check them out on the side of the trail.
I rode to work both today and yesterday. The normally packed bike racks by my office were completely empty both days, which surprised me. It was a bit windy and also drizzly at times, but otherwise very good riding conditions both days IMO.

I noticed on Thursday night at North and Wells that all the bike racks were filled - in front of Starbucks and Treasure Island. So a lot more people biking!

I rode today... in the mountains 8500+ ft. (Rode my road bike on Sunday but didn't get far!)
I can't breathe as well up here, I am sure the fact that I'm not the best shape isn't helping!
