I didn't stop.  Will they be around in the afternoon?  Not like I need more bike paraphernalia around the house...

Great question! That was my experience exactly! I added 15 or 20 minutes to my commute by taking the lakefront path. I'm so glad the ATA had a pit stop there to encourage me to take a different route. The lakefront is gorgeous! And the new tree sculptures north of 31st? Beautiful!

Bonus: The new ATA waterbottles sort of match the goofy green/aqua color of my late 80's  Voyageur.

Morning commutes don't get any better - Perfect temp, beautiful sunrise, tailwind pushing the whole way, free coffee & bagels & cliff bars. Can I get this everyday?

Unfortunately, they won't be on the LFP at Fullerton this afternoon.  It is kind of a nice water bottle.  Maybe they will have them tomorrow at the rally.

I rode and it was brilliant. Such a nice day.

Did my first century ride yesterday! WOOO!!! Was kind of free-styling the route- didn't know about the McClory and Green Bay trails but ended up southbound on both during the storm. Rain felt awesome after a humid day!

I should have stopped at the Rally and got the kid a T-shirt... Really, not pleased about work.

It was nice to see tons (hundreds?!+) of people on bikes today.

Nice, cool morning for the Rally.

The rally was pretty good. Transportation Secretary Roy LaHood was there, and spoke, as well as the Mayor and Gabe Klein. It was nice to see Kathy Schubert (with dog!) get an award. It was cool to see the mayor riding around the plaza on a Divvy. Also, somehow, the 7/11 was actually drinkable. Thanks!

Sorry about your work situation Jenn.

Nice, cool morning for the Rally.

I got about 20 blocks from work and popped a tube. Wish I would have bought the back up when I thought about it. Ugh.

I would have liked to go to the rally but work too far to make it to work on time.

I broke a spoke on the way to work, and stopped at the rally to get my free T-shirts.

Good things come to those who wait for red lights.

At Lincoln/Halsted/Fullerton I waited for the light to turn green. Two individuals came up behind and blew right thru it. Then all of a sudden a guy in a Clif jersey stepped out into the street and handed me two Clif bars. We exchanged pleasantries and by that time the light turned green. Not bad...
